How do I manage work patterns? (Mobile)

Modified on Fri, 08 Dec 2023 at 05:02 PM

Work patterns allow you to set up regular working and 'weekend' days to assign to employees who work on a fixed schedule. This means that employees will only be recommended for shifts on days when they're actually working, and if they book a block of leave we can make sure to only take the number of days from their allowance that they'd have been working anyway. Neat, right?

  1. Head over to the settings page by clicking on the 'More' button at the bottom of your screen and selecting 'Company Settings' from the list.
  2. Open the General Settings dropdown and select the 'Work Patterns' tab.
  3. Here you'll see the various working patterns that have been set up for your account.
    1. To add more work patterns click the plus icon in the top right and enter the pattern name, then choose the days of the week that should be counted as working days before saving.
      1. If you have multiple patterns then you can choose one to set as your primary work pattern by enabling the toggle when adding or editing. New employees will automatically be assigned this work pattern (although you'll still be able to change them on a case-by-case basis).
    2. To edit or delete an existing work pattern select the listing. You'll then be able to change the pattern details or delete it altogether using the bin icon in the top right.
  4. Once you're happy with your work patterns you can assign them to your team by editing their profile.
