You can control users' permission levels, but that's a whole lot easier when you know what the different levels actually have access to. Thankfully, the below table explains just that.
Obviously, it's not quite that simple though. It never is.
- If you're set as the leave approver for a user then you will be able to view and respond to that user's leave requests, even if you don't have the right permissions to view their profile.
- If you're set as the line manager for a user then you will be able to view that user's profile and edit any company-specific fields, even if you don't have the right permissions to view user profiles generally.
