How do I change an employee's invite email?

Invited an employee to Shiftie, only to realise too late that you've made a fatal typo in their email address? Awkward. Luckily it's easy to change it.


1. Head over to the team page by clicking on the 'Team' icon on the left of your screen. 

2. Find the team member you need to edit, either by scrolling through the list or using the magnifying glass button at the top of the screen to search, then click on them to open their profile. 

3. Select the 'Re-send invite' button at the top of the screen.

4. Enter the new email you want to use and click to confirm.

The employee will receive their invite via the new email address. Once they've accepted the invite this will become their username.


P.S. If the user has already verified their email address, for instance, if you're reinstating a previously archived user, then you won't be able to edit their email and will need to delete and re-add them.

This feature is only available on Desktop.
