How do I install the Shiftie app? (Mobile)

Fed up of having to go hunting for Shiftie every time you want to view your shifts? Not a problem; simply save it as an app to access at any time

Shiftie is a Progressive Web App (PWA for short). PWAs function a lot like traditional apps but save you the hassle of having to physically install yet another program on your device. Instead of giving you a slimmed-down version of the desktop software that only works if you have a brand new phone and download every single update, our PWA lets you access all the great features of desktop Shiftie from any device

1. Log in to your Shiftie account using Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
   
   1. In Chrome or Edge click the three dots to the right of the address bar and select Install from the list. Shiftie will open in a dedicated app view with the option to also save it to your desktop. Click this to confirm.
   2. In Safari click the box-with-arrow icon in the menu bar and select 'Add to Home Screen'.
   3. When you next want to use Shiftie you'll be able to open it in app view directly from the shortcut. In Chrome and Edge you can also open it in browser, click the three dots in the address bar, and select ' Open Shiftie' to open the app view.
