How do I change my password? (Desktop)

Want to update your Shiftie password to something fiendishly difficult to guess? Or just concerned that your evil twin keeps logging in as you and stealing your shifts? We get it.

If your user is associated with multiple Workplaces changing the password for one will change it for them all.


  1. Click on your profile picture in the bottom left of the screen, and select 'Account Details' from the list.
  2. This will open a window allowing you to update your login email. Click the 'Change password' link at the bottom of the page.
  3. Enter your current password to prove that it's really you (and not some stranger who sees your Shiftie account as the obvious key to stealing your identity) and then enter your new password twice.
  4. Once you're happy that you definitely know your new password and won't be clicking the 'forgot password' button in five minutes' time then click the save button at the bottom of the screen.


Forgotten your password altogether? Not a problem; simply go to https://shiftie.app/login, click the forgotten password link at the bottom of the page, and enter the email you use to log in to Shiftie. We'll send you a link to set a new password and you'll be back up and running in no time.
