How do I manage schedule settings? (Mobile)

One size definitely doesn't fit all. That's why we let you control the settings that govern your schedule.


  1. Head over to the settings page by clicking on the 'More' button at the bottom of your screen and selecting 'Company Settings' from the list. 
  2. Open the Scheduling dropdown and select the 'Settings' tab.
  3. Update any necessary settings, then click the save button.
  • Requiring employees to acknowledge their shifts lets you easily track which team members have seen their shifts and who might need a bit of prompting to make sure that they show up.
  • Allowing open shifts means that your team can volunteer for the shifts that you set up. They allow you to set up the shifts that you need to fill and then offer them to eligible employees so that your team can choose the shifts that suit them. You can choose whether each shift is automatically assigned to the first person to volunteer or if a manager needs to confirm the assignment from a shortlist.
  • You can control whether employees can see all shifts on their assigned schedule or if they're only able to view their own shifts. Will seeing all shifts give them a better overview of what's going on when they're not in, allowing them to come to work better prepared? Probably. Is it going to result in every single employee immediately trying to swap to a different shift? Perhaps. You're just going to have to work out whether the risk is worth it.
    • Within that, you can choose whether employees can see the status and tags for shifts that aren't assigned to them.
    • You can also choose to give employees access to all schedules or just the ones that are relevant to their assigned location
  • Allowing shift swaps lets employees trade shifts between themselves, provided both team members are eligible for both shifts. You can choose whether potential swaps need to be approved by a manager and whether there's a cut-off time for swapping before a shift starts.
