How do I cancel my account?

For the sake of our collective egos and sanity we're going to pretend that you just want to know how to cancel your account for reference and that you wouldn't dream of actually going through with it. No, please, we're happy in our ignorance.


  1. Head over to the settings page by clicking on the cog icon at the bottom left of your screen. 
  2. Choose the 'Account Information' tab under the Billing Details heading on the left of the screen.
  3. Click the cog button on the right of the screen and choose 'Cancel Account'.  You'll be asked if you're sure; if you are then your account will be marked as pending cancellation. 
  4. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing cycle (either the end of the month if you're on a monthly plan or the end of your billing year if you're on an annual plan), after which point we'll mark the account as closed. After that point, you and your employees won't be able to log in to the account so we recommend exporting any historical timesheets for your reference beforehand.
  5. By default, we'll retain your account information for 6 months before anonymising it but you can request that we anonymise it before this date if you so choose. Once the data has been anonymised it will be entirely non-recoverable and we will no longer be able to give you access to it.

This feature is only available on Desktop.
