Want to avoid bombarding your team with individual shift notifications while you're creating your schedule? We can't imagine why, but if you really feel that way then being able to publish whole groups of shifts in bulk once you're happy with the schedule may be the way forward.

  1. Head over to the scheduling page by clicking on the 'Scheduling' calendar icon on the left of your screen. You'll default to the week view, but you can change view if you want to.
  2. Click the 'Publish x Shifts' button in the top right of the page to view the 'Publish Shifts' form. If you don't have any unpublished shifts in your current schedule view then you'll need to either add some unpublished shifts first or navigate to a date range that already has some before you can click the button.
  3. The Publish Shifts form will let you choose which shift selection should be published. You can filter to only publish shifts that fall in a certain date range or are assigned to certain people, job roles, or tags.
  4. You can also choose to either publish the shifts straightaway or to set a certain date and time for them to publish.
  5. Once you're happy with your selection click the 'Publish' button at the bottom of the screen. Your shifts will either publish immediately or they'll update to show a pending icon so that you know they're due to publish at a pre-arranged date.*

*If you've scheduled shifts to publish in the future and have changed your mind all is not lost; you can still edit or delete the publish record.
