How do I view an employee's leave? (Desktop)

Knowing how much leave employees have taken and how much they have left to take can be really useful when you're trying to plan your schedule.

  1. Head over to the team page by clicking on the 'Team' icon on the left of your screen, then select the Leave tab.
  2. Find the team member, either by scrolling through the list or using the search bar at the top of the screen to search. You'll be able to see their annual allowance, how much leave they've booked and taken so far in the current leave year, and how much leave they have remaining.
    1. To view individual leave records click on the employee you're interested in.

Requested Tab

The requested tab is the default view when you click to view a specific employee. Here you'll see any leave that the employee has requested but hasn't yet taken. You'll be able to see whether the leave request is waiting for a response, or if it's already been approved or rejected. You can also see how much working time each request uses and whether the leave counts toward the employee's annual leave allowance (holiday does, obviously, but other leave types won't so you'll need to make sure that employees always choose the appropriate leave type).

Taken Tab

Once the start date of the leave has passed the record will move into the taken tab instead. You'll still be able to see all the info that you'd find in the requested tab, but it will be neatly filed away so that you can concentrate on the employee's upcoming leave instead.

Adjustments Tab

Unsurprisingly, the adjustments tab shows adjustments. Specifically, those that have made to the employee's leave allowance. Here you can see how many days (if any) have been added or removed, who made the change, when they made the change, and the reason, if they've given one.
