How do I change an employee's pay rates? (Desktop)

Modified on Wed, 29 Nov, 2023 at 12:12 PM

You can set and amend an employee's pay rate so that your schedule reflects accurate shift costs. You can also set different default pay rates for their different job roles to make payroll a little less painful.

  1. Head over to the team page by clicking on the 'Team' icon on the left of your screen.
  2. Find the team member you need to edit, either by scrolling through the list or using the search bar at the top of the screen to search, then click on them to open their profile.
  3. Click the 'Wage & Salary' tab on the left of the screen.
  4. Here you'll see the employee's base hourly rate - you can change this as needed and click 'Save Details' in the top right of the screen when done.
  5. If the employee performs different roles across different shifts you can set different pay rates per job role. Set the hourly rate for any job type which has different pay from the base rate and click 'Save Details' in the top right of the screen when done.
  6. You can also set the employee's pay roll ID if you want it to match your payroll software.
