How do I invite an employee to Shiftie? (Desktop)

While you can invite team members to Shiftie as you add them sometimes it's more convenient to wait and bulk-send invites to all employees at the same time. You can also re-send invitations to employees who haven't yet replied. So rude.

  1. Head over to the team page by clicking on the 'Team' icon on the left of your screen.
  2. Check the Send Invites button at the top right of the screen. If it's showing a number in a red circle then you have employees who haven't yet accepted an invitation to join your Shiftie account - click on the envelope now. If the envelope isn't showing a number then all of your team have already accepted the invite - best get adding more people!
    1. You can also check which team members have accepted their invites already by scrolling through the list of employees - anyone with a red paper plane icon by their name hasn't accepted yet and needs to get their act together.
  3. Once you've opened the 'Invite Employees' pop-up you can choose the employees you want to send invites to and then click to confirm. 
  4. Your chosen employees will receive invitation emails, allowing them to join your team and start experiencing the (many) joys of Shiftie for themselves. Lucky bunch, aren't they?

Haven't added an email address for the employee you want to invite yet? In that case, you'll need to find the team member's profile, either by scrolling through the list or using the magnifying glass button at the top of the screen to search, then click on them to open their profile. Click the Invite button at the top of the page and enter their email address.
