How do I change a shift date or assignee without editing?

Excitingly there's more than one way to change the date and assignee for a shift! (Well, we think it's exciting anyway).

If you want to move the shift within the same week, you can drag it into its new position, as thrillingly described below. If you need to move it further you'll need to edit the shift instead, but let's not focus on that.

  1. Head over to the scheduling page by clicking on the 'Schedule' calendar icon on the left of your screen and make sure you're using the week view.
  2. Find the shift that you want to move, using the calendar picker at the top of the screen if the right day isn't displaying, and hover over it to view options.
  3. Click and hold the shift, then drag it until it's held over the day and employee you want it to be assigned to. Eligible employees will be highlighted.
  4. Release the button to set the new details.

It's worth noting that this will only work if the shift is scheduled for the future. If it's already started or was for a date in the past then we're afraid that you're stuck with it.
