Although shift workers are known for having odd hours each week it's still useful to keep track of the maximum number each employee ought to be working. We won't stop you from scheduling them for more hours than their max but we will show judgemental warning messages if you do.

  1. Head over to the team page by clicking on the 'More' button at the bottom of your screen and selecting 'Team' from the menu.
  2. Find the team member, either by scrolling through the list or using the search bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Once you've found the team member click on their name. This will open their profile.
  4. Scroll down and choose 'Pay Rates' from the list.
  5. Fill out the 'Max hours/week' field.
  6. If the employee will be paid for any hours which they work over their set max hours make sure that the 'Exempt From Overtime' field is left unticked. If they're salaried and won't be paid extra for working extra then tick the field; we'll put a flag against their timesheets.
