Although shift workers are known for having odd hours each week it's still useful to keep track of the maximum number each employee ought to be working. We won't stop you from scheduling them for more hours than their max but we can show judgemental warning messages in the schedule if you do.
- Head over to the team page by clicking on the 'Team' icon on the left of your screen.
- Find the team member you need to edit, either by scrolling through the list or using the magnifying glass button at the top of the screen to search, then click on them to open their profile.
- Click the 'Pay Rates' tab on the left of the screen.
- Fill out the 'Max hours/week' field.
- If the employee will be paid for any hours that they work over their set max hours make sure that the 'Exempt From Overtime' field is left unticked. If they're salaried and won't be paid extra for working extra then tick the field; we'll put a flag against their timesheets.
